Mary Ann Pierce, Founder & CEO
For 20 years Mary Ann has fused digital with events. With the MetaMeetings platform MAP Digital manages an event's digital ecosystem from bandwidth, webcasting and digitized content to data analytics. She has worked with J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, The Wall Street Journal, Novartis, Pfizer, and Havas. For two years, she was an adjunct professor at New York University and has been a speaker at industry conferences such as Evolve or Die Conference, PCMA Educon, MPI Conferences, and SITE; and has been featured in a number of articles. In 2017 “Meetings & Conventions Magazine” named her as one of “The Top 25 Women in the Meetings Industry.” Mary Ann Pierce was in creative services and production for Jack Morton Worldwide, Caribiner, and Imero Fiorentino Associates. She was the Managing Director of the Atlantic Theater Company, Marketing Director for MoMA: P.S.1 , and copywriter for Wunderman. She serves on boards of New York Digital Irish, The Cuala Foundation, IIBN-NY, and is an advisor for Inspirefest. MAP Digital is certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
Meghan Swift, COO/Executive Producer
As COO/Executive Producer, Meghan Swift has produced digital events for J.P. Morgan, Guggenheim Securities and Jefferies. For 13 years she has been responsible for the deployment of MetaMeetings in pre-production, onsite and post-production, as well as securing bandwidth provisioning and supervising AV equipment, computers, and printers rentals. She has a BFA in Theater Production and Management from Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts. She has worked with a number of AEA Theater Companies, and in administration at Harvard University's Office of the Arts. Her stage management skills enhance her effectiveness as Project Manager of digital events.
