Networked Presentations

One of the most useful and efficient uses of network services onsite is to create a Local Area Network (LAN) that connects all of the presentation rooms and signage monitors to drive content and changes from a single server. Use a central server to store all content and then "push" speaker support, messages, agenda and Internet access throughout the venue. These LANs are especially useful for large conferences with concurrent presentation rooms and breakouts and provide interactivity between breakouts for training events.

Uses

  • Speaker support.
  • Agenda.
  • Messages.
  • Internet access in presentation rooms.
  • Interactivity between break-outs.

Benefits

  • Centralized control of speaker support and content.
  • Added layer of back up for meeting content.
  • Internet access for presentations.
  • Eliminate "sneakernet" and execute changes swiftly.
